Mrityunjay (মৃত্যুঞ্জয়) : A famous Assamese Novel by Birendra Kumar Bhattachrryya (বীৰেন্দ্ৰ কুমাৰ ভট্টাচাৰ্য) and published by Chandra Prakash (চন্দ্ৰ প্ৰকাশ). A must read. For this novel the writer has been awarded with Jayanpeeth Award (highest literary award in India) in 1979 (জ্ঞানপীঠ বটা - ১৯৭৯).
