Magh Bihu and Annual Sports Day celebrated in Delhi

Dated  21st January 2018 :-  Assam Association Delhi has  successfully  celebrated  their Annual Sports Day and Magh Bihu in  the Central Secretariat Sports Field , Vinay Marg, Chanakyapuri in a befitting manner. The day long program was initiated with flag hosting by Sri Achut Saikia, President , Assam Association Delhi  with singing of 'O mur apunar Desh ..'. Subsequently the Meji projollan was done by the community . After that the series of activities i.e. Art & Drawing competition for children, Musical Chair competition for ladies, Tug-or-war between President XI vs General Secretary XI ( Male) , Tug-of-war between  Mula Ghabaru Vs  Joymati ( ladies) , Football competition between President XI vs GS XI ( male) etc were held. The MAgh bihu edition of the magazine  viz. ' Samayik' was launched by  President Assam Association Delhi. Then  there was competition among children n various category of song & music . The community feast was participated by around  500  nos of bihu lovers. The program was completed with bihu dance and tambola .  A few photos are attached http://aad.assam.org/content/magh-bihu
