Dear Raiz,
Amidst the cries of war, the crippled economy and other misfortunes, our dearest Rongali Bihu has arrived as God sent to spread the message of love and peace. To share the woes or to share a laugh with fellow community members, to listen to the soothing tunes of Pepa, Gogona, Dhol and the mind boggling Bihu songs even for a day during this troubled period, we the Assamese Community of Boston, USA, are inviting you to the Rongali Bihu celebration on the 26th of April, 2003 at:

We solicit your gracious presence and participation in all the events on that day to make it more enjoyable and a successful one.
Highlights of few of our Cultural Programs:
Bihu Husori : This is the third successive year the Boston daredevils are going to perform on the stage with some beautiful new Bihu songs and with some of the finest Bihu dancers in the USA.
Jeng Bihu: This is your opportunity of a lifetime. Come and see the superb Jeng Bihu performance and you are going to realize what we mean.
Chorus: The Boston Chorus team has chosen a beautiful rendition of Rupkonwar Jyotiprasad to perform this time.
Individual programs by children : The children born and brought up in this country are the ones who enjoy the Bihu most. Their excitements on this day are beyond our words. To get a taste of the culture of their ancestors, this day gives them ample opportunities.
Individual programs by Adults : There will be plenty of talented singers and dancers performing in this Bihu. Moreover, we always encourage everyone to perform on the stage. If you are planning to take part in the cultural programs, please feel free to contact us.
