The Udyoga Parva Bhaona (Classical Play) in English

The "Udyoga Parva "Bhaona (Classical Play) in English was held at Srimanta Sankardev Bhawan Auditorium Hall, New Delhi on  15 September, 2018  from 6.30 PM -9:00 PM . The  noted scholar of Indian Classical Dance ,Art, Architecture and Art History , the receiver of prestigious Srimanta Shankardeva Award,Rockefeller Award and Padma Vibhushan,Dr Kapila Vatsyayan inaugurated  the " Bhaona . Dr Vatshayan has always a very close tie with Assam and she edited the famous Assamese manuscript painting book of Gita Govinda.This classical play was an innovative way to perform the traditional bhaona  for the first time  in English
