Life journey
Worked as a scientist-new drug discovery research in MNC more than 15 years in Gurgaon/New Delhi including 7 years in Daiichi Sankyo Inc, Japan's 2nd largest Pharma company. Was a core team member of Global discovery team of Daiichi Sankyo (HQ Tokyo) for 7 years. Moved to Albany Medical College, New York USA in 2018, now in UTMB, Texas since March 2022. A veterinarian by training, medical scientist-new drug discovery by virtue of profession, an R & D leader by virtue of management degree in operation management, an Engineer by virtue of PhD from IIT Delhi. Maybe First Assamese veterinarian to do PhD from IIT system. A Doctor-Scientist-Manager-Engineer---covered almost all profession in life so far. Actively participated in all activities of Assam Association Delhi during 2004-2010.

Working as a Sr scientist in the Galveston National Laboratory, University of Texas Medical Branch, USA-World's largest high secured BSL-4 laboratory. Main area of resaerch: Virology & Immunology, Development of vaccines and new drugs.

My wife Reema Barman is the CEO of my Family. Daughter Dona Barman-a great painter, topped the middle school with highest GPA, got several medals including the certificate signed by the President of the United State.
