MAJULI- the world’s largest river island is facing the heavy erosion by the mighty Brahmaputra. Originally the total area of this island was 1250 sq. km. After the great earthquake in 1950 the erosion was started. And for this heavy problem the area of this island reduced to 480 sq. km. This means within 57 years it has lost 770 sq km. So it is very obvious that what will happen after fifty years from now.

How BANGLADESHI MUSLIMS wiped the Assamese out in their OWN land

Posted by: admin on 06/17/2007 02:35 (Read: 1535)
It is a political irony of post-partition India that none of its Government ever took the problem of large scale of Muslims infiltration from erstwhile East Pakistan, which is now Bangladesh to bordering Indian states particularly Assam, seriously.
